The 62nd annual Grammy Awards were on Sunday. Here are highlights from the show:
Billie Eilish won five awards, including record, album and song of the year, capping a night that also saw multiple wins for Lizzo and Lil Nas X.
Our critics and writers weigh in on the best and worst moments.
Lizzo and host Alicia Keys kicked off the show by addressing the death of the basketball star Kobe Bryant.
The ousted Grammys chief Deborah Dugan is at war with the Recording Academy. In a speech, Keys seemed to reference the turmoil.
Check out the red carpet looks.

01. EVANGELINE ASTOR.
âSheâs...sheâs not like I expected. Sheâs just a rather unpleasant sort of girl, really.â
Evangeline is nine when she overhears this from the top of the stairs at her parentâs home. She doesnât know what it means, really, but she knows that itâs about her. Itâs not unusual for her parents to whisper about things after they think that sheâs gone to bed, but even at this age, Eva has never been particularly good at âgoing to bed.â At this point, her parents have not done a particularly good job at hiding the fact that they donât like her very much, so sheâs decided that she doesnât like them very much either.
Even though sheâs light on her feet, the stair in the old house creaks when she stands up. Hopefully her parents have had too many dry martinis that they wonât hear the sound, and even if they do, they wonât think much of it. The house is old and always making strange noises, the doors sometimes open and shut on their own, wind comes in gusts through the poor insulation. It sometimes sounds like voices, and Eva likes to think that the house is full of ghosts and that theyâre all on her side. Sheâs never been the sort of girl to run for her parents in the middle of the night when she hears a tapping at her window. Sheâs the sort of girl that just says, âHello.â
When she was younger, she tried to tell her mother that she thought her room was haunted. Elizabeth Astor dropped a plate of pastries, fine china shattering into bits on the hardwood floor. Evaâs not supposed to talk about things like that.
When she gets back to her room, she feels quite upset. She doesnât really know what to do with herself, the dark, resentful feeling that grows in the pit of her stomach and puts in roots at the base of her heart. She canât turn on the light, not since her father got angry with her for tracking mud in the house a couple months ago and slammed his fist into the wall. He broke the switch. Evaâs not yet tall enough to reach the light cord that hangs off the bulb on the ceiling and do it manually. So, she lights a candle.
She loves the feeling of striking a match, the sound it makes, and thereâs a certain amount of POWER that comes with holding something burning in her old wooden house. Imagine if she dropped it? Just let everything burn? The flame reflects in her dark eyes as she leans over to light the candle at her bedside, pulling a stack of books out of her bottom drawer. Sheâs reading Julie of the Wolves, the story of an orphan girl sent to live with her distant and cold aunt. When she runs away and begins to coexist with a pack of wolves, she becomes torn with the choice of staying with them or going back home. Itâs one of her favorites, but Eva doesnât think sheâd have any difficulty with that choice. Too bad there arenât many wolf packs in East Sussex.
Itâs nearly dawn when Eva finishes her book, slowly drifting off to sleep. She blows out the candle before bed, watching gentle smoke spiral up toward the ceiling. It still burns within her.
June 2021
Eva returns to the UK after leaving Gallagher because sheâs not sure where else to go. She doesnât have much with her, a duffel bag of clothes and a couple books, having ditched all forms of electronics. Sheâs got a bit of cash on her. Thereâs an ache in her chest when the bus pulls onto the road of her old hometown. At first she doesnât know what it is, but she thinks maybe this is what people talk about when they say that their heart hurts.
Itâs been a harrowing semester.
When she steps off the bus, she feels a rush of memory. Itâs not nostalgia, she has no longing for the past, but itâs easy to remember how this little seaside town shaped her into who she was, and how lonely she used to feel, walking on this exact same path to home. It makes her realize she feels less lonely now, in the same way that Julie made a pack of wolves her family, sheâd found her own group of outsiders in Cole, Cecilia, Carmichael, and Christian. She was not the only one who always felt something wild within her, and just like the wolves, when you weather the storm together you better your chances of survival.
Before she even reaches her destination, she knows exactly what sheâs going to do. Some people might find it pointless, or even petty, but for Eva it goes deeper than that. Being petty is reserved for focusing on matters of little importance, and this is more important to her than anything, itâs the final closing chapter before she leaves this little town and her childhood home for good. Itâs a clear, beautiful Sunday morning when she stands in the trees beside her house. She knows that her parents will likely leave for church soon, at 9:45am on the dot like they always do. Theyâre addicted to their little routines. And Eva is addicted to other things. She lights the cigarette between her lips, exhales with a sigh. The grass is so dry she wonders what would happen if she dropped it. How long would the fire burn?
Eva looks up when she hears the slam of the front door of the house, the careful movement down steps. She hasnât seen them in years now, and her father helps her mother down the steps and into the car. She walks with a cane. Had they always been this small? They look so frail to her from this distance, so fragile, and itâs hard to believe how many years she allowed these little people to lord over her life, to try and shape her into something she couldnât. How could such fragile people have suffocated her so much? How had she let them do that to her?Â
Itâs not until the car is far down the dirt road that she feels like she can breathe properly again. Eva ashes her cigarette and puts it out on the bark of a tree before she heads up toward the house. Itâs amazing to her how well she remembers things, exactly where her mother keeps the butter dish or the weird crack on the ceiling in the dining room. The wind howls through the hall in gusts from where her father left the window open in the study, and she feels strange. Like now, she is just one of many ghosts that inhabited the halls of this old house. She is not a guest or a visitor, there is a piece of her trapped forever, emblazoned in the woodwork. There will always be a part of her that is that lonely little girl with something so dreadful about her that she couldnât be loved properly, that little girl who stayed up all night, feeling something rotting inside of her.
She wants to destroy it.
Eva moves through the house like a memory, and itâs not hard to find what she needs. Gasoline, mostly, and sheâs one of those sick people that loves the smell. She loves it even more right now. Itâs not petty to her, it has to be done. It makes so much sense to her to set all the ghosts free that live in these walls, and itâs the best place that she knows to spread the fire that wages war inside of her.
She has to be quick after she strikes the match, she canât revel in the feeling that she loves so much â there is a power that comes from starting a fire, no matter how small. Then she lets go.
Sheâs far out of town by the time the air becomes thick with smoke, not around to watch the floorboards of her childhood home get consumed by the flames, but itâs an old house, the base is rotting, and there will be nothing that the townâs tiny fire department will be able to do to preserve it in time.Â
Sometimes, to grow, you have to kill a part of yourself to do it, cut off the part thatâs gone bad. Leaving, she feels like sheâs gotten a part of herself back, like sheâs burnt out the rotten bit at the center of her core. Itâs revenge, surely, but sheâs always been fond of that. Even more so, itâs the end of something old.
And once again, Eva will find somewhere to start new, like a phoenix from the ashes.
#eva having no respect for the environment throughout this#anyways <3 the end#*#this is my first time cutting my own png so just don't look at it too hard lmao

Koei Tecmo and Gust have released new information and screenshots of Atelier Lulua: The Scion of Arland introducing newly confirmed sub-characters Cole Dueller, Lisa von Beilschmidt, Refle von Beilschmidt, Jeltje Jeremies, Wild Klinsmann, and Pamela Ibis, as well as the battle system.
Get the details below.
â Key Visual
â Sub-Characters
Cole Dueller (voiced by Souichirou Miwa)
A former peddler who trained beneath a certain blacksmith.
The owner of a blacksmith shop. With his technique learned from an Arland blacksmith and business sense as a former peddler, his shop has become quite popular. With the motto, âWork while youâre young, earn while youâre working,â he is a bit tight when it comes to his money, but is willing to take a loss if it is to help others. He knows Rorona from long ago.
Lisa von Beilschmidt (voiced by Emiri Katou)
The gluttonous queen and bar employee.
The showgirl for the âGolden Broadax Tavernâ in Arculis. Neat, clean, kind, and beautiful, she does not look suited to work at a bar. Also unlike her appearance suggests, she eats like a pig and could scarf down all the food at the bar if she put her mind to it. She loves eating, and is commonly referred to as âAngelâs Smile.â
Refle von Beilschmidt (voiced by Kaya Okuno)
A girl who loves jewels.
Shopkeeper at the jewelry store âSilver Chiselâ in Arculis, and Lisaâs younger sister. She has loved and collected pretty things like jewels and shells since she was little, and her knowledge on the subject is no less than that of a researcher. She is shy and does not show much active emotion, but loves her older sister Lisa.
Jeltje Jeremies (voiced by Takeda Rarisa Tago)
A fanatic for famous adventurers.
A girl who calls herself the âAdventurer Maniac.â Her purpose in life is to travel the world to get autographs from âamazing adventurers.â Cheerful and lively, she is the type to be herself without worrying about the minor things. However, when she comes face-to-face with one of those âamazing adventurers,â she tenses up and gets quiet.
Wild Klinsmann (voiced by Yuuki Yonai)
Arlandâs young chef.
The owner of a restaurant in Arland. With the motto to âstudy the cutting edge of fashionâ and not just cooking, he seems to also pay particular attention to his hair style and clothes, but always wears his apron as a symbol of his chef pride. He was originally a delinquent, but changed his ways after eating the soulful cuisine of a certain chef, and decided to follow the path of the chef.
Pamela Ibis (voiced by Asuka Tanii)
The owner of âPamelaâs Shopâ in Arls. She has a warm and fluffy personality, and her shop has become one of the tourist attractions of Arls. She seems to know Rorona from long ago.
â Battle System
The battle system of Atelier Lulua: The Scion of Arland is based on the âCollaboration Battlesâ of the seriesâ latest entry Atelier Lydie & Suelle: The Alchemists and the Mysterious Paintings, but goes deeper with the implementation of new elements like âInterruptâ and âPrimal Arts.â
Battle Members and Formation
Up to five party members can participate in battle, with three characters in the front and two characters in the back. The characters in the front can directly attack monsters, and depending on the actions taken by the front, the back can return fire with assist skills.
âFive party members can participate in battle. Characters in the back have the benefit of gradually recovering HP and MP. While systems have been improved, the Atelier seriesâ familiar and powerful special moves also return.
âDepending on the actions taken by characters in the front, characters in the back can cooperate to activate assist skills. By trying to activate assist skills, you can continuously deal big damage in one go.
Utilize Skills
Characters have many unique skills. Since the use of skills can decipher the pages of the Alchemy Riddle book, be sure to utilize various skills while considering the enemyâs weaknesses.
âEvaâs âRange Shiftâ skill comes changes the attack range her skills.
New Element #1: More Strategic Battles with âInterruptâ
âInterruptâ is a command that can only be used by alchemists. By building up the gauge on the lower-right of the screen, you can âInterruptâ the battle to use an equipped item at any time, regardless of whether it is your turn.
âIf your teammate is in a pinch, âInterruptâ to cut in and heal them before your turn.
When used normally, the amount of times an item can be used decreases, and disappears once it has all been used. However, when equipped as an Interrupt item, the amount of times the item can be used never decreases, allowing you to use items as many times as you want without worrying. Make heavy use of synthesized items particular about quality and efficiency. However, it should be noted that only one Interrupt item can be equipped per alchemist.
Additionally, special effects called âInterrupt Skills,â which differ depending on the alchemist, can also be activated when using Interrupt. There are various additional effects, such as âadding light knock-back when used on an enemy in the break state.â
âBy forming a party of several alchemists, you can continously use Interrupts.
New Element #2: âPrimal Artsâ are the Key to Deepening Your Bonds
âPrimal Artsâ are special formation effects activated based on the combination of characters in the front. There are various effects, including powering-up items and reducing damage received. Since Primal Arts can be used to your benefit in battle, be sure to consider your formation.
âDepending on your formation, you can activate various Primal Arts.

Released in the United States on February 18, 2011, the film received mixed reviews from critics and grossed $136 million against its $30 million budget.
Plot[edit]
Dr. Martin Harris (Liam Neeson) and his wife Liz (January Jones) arrive in Berlin for a biotechnology summit. At their hotel, Harris realizes he left his briefcase at the airport and takes a taxi to retrieve it. The taxi is involved in an accident and crashes into the Spree, knocking him unconscious. The driver rescues him but flees the scene. Harris regains consciousness at a hospital after being in a coma for four days.
When Harris returns to the hotel, he discovers Liz with another man (Aiden Quinn). Liz says this man is her husband and declares she does not know Harris. The police are called, and Harris attempts to prove his identity by calling a colleague named Rodney Cole, to no avail. He writes down his schedule for the next day from memory. When he visits the office of Professor Leo Bressler, whom he is scheduled to meet, 'Dr. Harris' is already there. As Harris attempts to prove his identity, 'Harris' provides identification and a family photo, both of which have his face. Overwhelmed by the identity crisis, Harris loses consciousness and awakens back at the hospital. A Terrorist named Smith kills his attending nurse, but Harris escapes.
Harris seeks help from private investigator and former Stasi agent Ernst JĂŒrgen. Harris's only clues are his father's book on botany and Gina (Diane Krueger), the taxi driver, an undocumented Bosnian immigrant who has been working at a diner since the crash. While Harris persuades her to help him, JĂŒrgen researches Harris and the biotechnology summit, discovering it is to be attended by Prince Shada of Saudi Arabia. The prince is funding a secret project headed by Bressler, and has survived numerous assassination attempts. JĂŒrgen suspects that the identity theft might be related.
Harris and Gina are attacked in her apartment by Smith and another terrorist, Jones; they escape after Gina kills Smith. Harris finds that Liz has written a series of numbers in his book, numbers that correspond to words found on specific pages. Using his schedule, Harris confronts Liz alone; she tells him that he left his briefcase at the airport. Meanwhile, JĂŒrgen receives Cole at his office and reveals his findings about a secret terrorist group known as Section 15. JĂŒrgen soon deduces that Cole is a former mercenary and member of the group. Knowing Cole is there to interrogate and kill him and with no way of escape, JĂŒrgen commits suicide to protect Harris.
After retrieving his briefcase, Harris parts ways with Gina. When she sees him kidnapped by Cole and Jones, she steals a taxi and follows them. When Harris awakes, Cole explains that 'Martin Harris' is just a cover name created by Harris. His head injury caused him to believe the cover persona was real; when Liz notified Cole of the injury, 'Harris' was activated as his replacement. Gina runs over Jones before he can kill Harris, then rams Cole's van, killing him as well. After Harris finds a hidden compartment in his briefcase containing two Canadian passports, he remembers that he and Liz were in Berlin three months earlier to plant a bomb in Prince Shada's suite.
Now aware of his own role in the assassination plot, Harris seeks to redeem himself by thwarting it. Hotel security immediately arrests Harris and Gina, but Harris proves his earlier visit to the hotel. After security is convinced of the bomb's presence, they evacuate the hotel.
Harris realizes that Section 15's target is not Prince Shada, but Bressler, who has developed a genetically modified breed of corn capable of surviving harsh climates. Liz accesses Bressler's laptop and steals the data. With Bressler's death and the theft of his research, billions of dollars would fall into the wrong hands. Seeing that the assassination attempt has been foiled, Liz tries to disarm the bomb but fails and is killed when it explodes. Harris kills 'Harris', the last remaining Section 15 terrorist, before he can murder Bressler. While Bressler announces that he is giving his project to the world for free, Harris and Ginaâwith new identitiesâboard a train together.

Production[edit]
FriedrichstraĂe, Berlin, is the scene of a car chase
OberbaumbrĂŒcke, from which the taxi plunges into the river
Principal photography took place in early February 2010 in Berlin, Germany, and in the Studio Babelsberg film studios.[6] The bridge the taxi plunges from is the OberbaumbrĂŒcke. The FriedrichstraĂe was blocked for several nights for the shooting of a car chase. Some of the shooting was done in the Hotel Adlon. Locations include the Neue Nationalgalerie, Berlin Hauptbahnhof, Berlin FriedrichstraĂe station, Pariser Platz, Museum Island, the Oranienburger StraĂe in Berlin and the Leipzig/Halle Airport.[8] According to Andrew Rona, the budget was $40 million.[9] Producer Joel Silver's US company Dark Castle Entertainment contributed $30 million.[10] German public film funds supported the production with âŹ4.65 million (more than $6 million).[11] The working title was Unknown White Male.
Release[edit]
Unknown was screened out of competition at the 61st Berlin International Film Festival.[12] It was released in the United States on February 18, 2011.
Critical response[edit]
On Rotten Tomatoes, a review aggregator, the film has an approval rating of 55% based on 200 reviews; the average rating is 5.81/10. The site's critical consensus reads, 'Liam Neeson elevates the proceedings considerably, but Unknown is ultimately too derivative â and implausible â to take advantage of its intriguing premise.'[13] On Metacritic the film has an average weighted score of 56 out of 100, based on 38 critics, indicating 'mixed or average reviews'.[14] Audiences polled by CinemaScore gave the film an average grade of 'B+' on an A+ to F scale.[15]
Richard Roeper gave the film a B+ and wrote, 'At times, Unknown stretches plausibility to the near breaking point, but it's so well paced and the performances are so strong and most of the questions are ultimately answered. This is a very solid thriller.'[16] Justin Chang of Variety called it 'an emotionally and psychologically threadbare exercise'.[17]
Box office[edit]
Unknown grossed $63.7 million in North America and $72.4 million in other territories for a worldwide total of $136.1 million.
It finished a number one opening at its first week of release with $21.9 million.[18]

A capa do pirulito vai necessitar desses materiais:
EVA;
LĂĄpis ou palito de churrasco;
Cola quente;
Tesoura;
Caneta permanente;
RĂ©gua;
Tinta branca.
Formando a Juba do LeĂŁo

2:1 Theory Tutorial 23/01
- Get yourself established in the studio space! Bring in materials so you have the option to edit down rather than being particularly specific to start with - otherwise youâll end up with nothing to work with. Looking for evidence of critically engaging with artwork or an idea. - Follow the quote. Perhaps look specifically at the conditions for sculpture, the hierarchy of sculpture. There is an automatic assumption that sculpture is something three dimensional in a space. Is this the case in reality? - Minimalism vs the trace of the artist in the object. How successful is minimalism and can an artist ever expunge their trace? - Eva Hesse. - The anti aesthetic. To what degree is is possible to expunge aesthetics. The idea of function and beauty in minimalist objects. - Bruce McLean, the body and the object. - Yanis Starback - Alice Anderson, ritual wrapping. Freud Museum - Transforming one thing into another. - Juddson choreography with minimalist sculpture, dancing. - The relocating of something, the body moving with ht objet. - Hannah Black, Chisenhale gallery, transitional objects. - Isa Jensken, urban, what is this idea of sculpture and the moment (of the gaze ?) - Objects - point of big of the object (quote in the essay about the gaze), the body beaming the object Vali export, South London Gallery. Feminism and the body in space. - Transitioning text into sculpture. - Hilary Lloyd, Sadie Coles. - What is this expansion of sculptural field? Where is this line of enquiry coming from? - Think of writing potentially as serially, numbering paragraphs perhaps, allowing for a fragmented narrative, justified according to its diaspoerate nature and an interest in montage, serialism and the fragment (as an organising principle). - All the work you are making could be a fragment based project, no real beginning or ending, rather a journal of throughs, and then going through an editing process for the writing hand in process. - Carole Leisch Newman - Lucy Lippard Pink Glass Swan. - Constellations - The work is not one determining the other but is an engagement with the other/object. Running parallel alongside. l
